Thought I know Prof. Palkova quite well I did not know she is working
on the same thing at the same time. Please could you kindly forward me
her email?

Certainly she is the authority which has a lot to say about this matter
from the phonetician's point of view. (My background is rather the
computer science one.) She is the author of one of books I used while
preparing my proposal. I should get in touch with her.
